There are many ways to generate a ton of traffic to your website but how many of those really work? We have all seen surf for hits, safelists, search engine submitters, and all sorts of traffic generating mumbo jumbo. Do any of them really work? Maybe, but for the time you put in it sure doesn’t seem worth it to me.
So what are we supposed to do to drive real, targeted traffic to our sites? Well there are several good ways to drive good traffic but I want MASSIVE traffic…so I write articles.
You heard right. I simply write articles to gain massive traffic. In fact I will let you in on a little secret…I am writing this article with the ulterior motive to drive traffic to my site
Of course I want to give you good content but in exchange I am looking for traffic. See how that works?

Back when I was in my early twenties, a friend and I had started going to auctions, flea markets and other places to try and make money with the old buy low, sell high strategy. While it worked on occasion, many times the cost of our goods would eat into our profits to a great degree. Since we were working with a minimal budget we needed to figure out a way to get our merchandise as cheaply as possible. We kicked around a bunch of ideas and I mentioned jokingly, “wouldn’t it be great to get our stuff for nothing”? It didn’t take long for thoughts of the ‘Goodwill, Salvation Army, Purple Heart’ and organizations such as that to come to mind. Within a couple of weeks thereafter, ‘Bill and Zill Free Pick-Up Service’ was born.
Although it’s been many years since the days of Bill and Zill, the idea behind it is as viable today as ever, as shown by the continued growth of organizations such as the Salvation Army. And with the introduction of online auctions such as eBay, you have ways of selling your stuff today that we would have loved to have had back then. If you decide that you might want to give this business a try, here’s a few things that can help you get off to a good start, and avoid some of the pitfalls that we encountered along the way.

2007 is year of Filipino entrepreneur, says GMA
Publication Date: [Friday, December 29, 2006]
2007 will be the year of the Filipino entrepreneur whose businesses will be the lead drivers of the economy, President Arroyo said yesterday.
In a statement, Mrs. Arroyo said the government has been laying the groundwork — including increasing investor confidence through fiscal reforms — for a conducive environment for business, especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
“We shall continue to breach poverty as we move forward, broadening education and health services to build minds and bodies to compete in the world and infusing resources to pull the bandwagon of grassroots enterprise,” Mrs. Arroyo said.

So you really want an internet cafe? If the answer is yes, do you know the Philippines has low telephone density and computer count and few subscribers that is why internet cafes are sprouting everywhere. Filipinos are now
aware of the importance of internet like email, chatting or just for gaming. But few have access or have a computer at home so there is a good opportunity for this business. But not every internet café business are very successful due to the fact of setting up on the wrong location. Remember the other topic I’ve discussed on ‘Location or Information, Which is More Important?’
Anyway there are business packages in myDSL which you can try. The convenience of not setting up the network and internet connection yourself, the computers are already installed with software and hardware are already complete. Sign board is already there and the logo or brand name. Very similar to franchising. You can also try franchising to some known or popular internet cafes like Netopia. Some say that “This business almost runs by itself.”

Franchising is one of the easiest ways to put up a business nowadays. Everything is actually being set up for you, from the products to the manpower to the materials. All you need to do is actually provide the capital for it.
It all seems so easy when you think about it but it is actually not. Although everything is already provided for you, you will still have to find the time to manage the business, do the books and shoulder the everyday troubles of running a business.
Of course, compared to putting up your own, it is actually easier but this does not mean that any person with money can do it. You need to have the mindset and the commitment to do it. Although it may not seem so because everything is being done for you, this is still your business and your primary responsibility.

Franchising is the best thing way that you can start off a business. This is especially true for people who do not have the know how yet about business but would already want to have their own.
With franchising, everything is already provided for you— the system, the materials, the products, the training for the people. Everything is already done for you. All you have to do is put up the capital and manage the business. Some franchises even find the spot for you and even help you find the right people that will serve as your manpower.
Although there are many kinds of franchises, the most popular are in the food business. There are also some that are in the services like key duplicating, repair shops, salons. There are actually a lot of things that you can franchise. In fact, you may even propose the start of a franchise to an owner as this is one way of expanding the business without shelling out the money.

Most probably you have heard of several success stories in franchising. Perhaps you have given it a lot of though and are thinking of wading into the business just to test the waters. Before you do, here are some other questions you might like to chew on just to determine if franchising is indeed for you.
Have you manage to limit you choices of a franchise to a specific product or service? You must have at least the basic knowledge on the franchise business you are planning on getting into. If you have an extensive military background perhaps a security agency franchise might be a better option for you than a pre school franchise.
Do you have enough money to purchase a franchise? Most franchise offers have a projected return of investment period. However, this does not mean that you will recoup you money on the specified time. Have the money to spend on at least three months or more on your business after the stated ROI period.
