Banner advertising has been a popular means of advertising in the past. But due to it’s constant use the effectiveness dropped and surfers have became blind to ads. The term was “ad blindness”. However, most of the marketers today still use banners but has invented strategies to overcome the ads blindness. One way is to make the background white to blend it and to make it look like content. Since surfers are used to color blue hyper link, make the text blue to disguise it as a hyper link. Then after designing the banner, advertise to other related websites that offer banner advertising.
