Are You a Dog Lover?

April 16th, 2007 Lito

I have a dog once and loved it but since I got married I tend to forget about pets. If you are dog lover and lived the in the Philippines or a foreigner who loves dogs and want to dress it up, there is a dog couture I know owned by an well known actor Michael de Mesa. It was featured once in the entrepreneur magazine. The name was K9 Couture. They also have a shop in Tiendesitas if you happen to passby there.

Success Principle of Michael Bloomberg

April 15th, 2007 Lito

I want to share to you what I got from Mike Litman. He is a well known marketing coach so I think I need not introduce him.

He wrote:

Dear Lito,

I’m a big fan of what Michael Bloomberg has accomplished as an entrepreneur.

Before he became mayor of New York, he built a billion dollar business from scratch. There’s a great story in this week’s ‘Fortune Magazine’
about his company. I suggest you read it if possible.

I wrote an article about him a while back, you can read it below.

Your Coach,

Techniques to Generate Content on Your Digital Products

April 14th, 2007 Lito

As an infopreneur, what is your objective? Is it truly money? You are right! It’s essential. Become famous? It’s essential but it doesn’t truly mean you’re successful.

What is the use of becoming an entrepreneur anyway? It’s freedom. Nevertheless, you don’t want to be tied up in a 9-5 job, being unproductive in 16 hours of your time making no earnings, having someone telling you when to wake up, lunch breaks at 12pm , going home at 5pm, and your superior nagging you to work over-time.

This means your aim is to have extra free time, and earn additional income. Not to work harder to earn more money.

But many us don’t realize the potential business that we can create as an individual by harnessing the power of eBay. One good example was Dekada Collectibles which was already a power seller on eBay. Online selling is managed and owned by Eireen Bernardo. Her business was home based and she manages the lists of items on EBay, answering email inquiries, shipping and packaging despite on her busy schedule as a mom.

It all began when her husband was retrenched from work in 2002. Her husband bought truckloads of old bottles from bulacan. But within a few months their items of antiques and collectibles grew and was named Dekada Collectibles . By September she started trading on eBay and their first sale was a 1974 Miss Universe photo of Miss Aruba which is bought for $34 by a Norwegian bidder (Would you believe that it was only 150 pesos?). Turning Obstacles into Opportunity

April 11th, 2007 Lito

De Los Reyes HomeCraft International did not became a big time exporter of miniature wooden craft overnight. Mr. Primitovo De Los Reyes was the founder of this company who now exports unique Philippine miniature wooden crafts to the U.S., Singapore, Taiwan and Korea. Way back then he was making wooden handicraft in 1969 and was fortunate enough to be help out by CITC (Cottage Industry Technology Center) for his training. But then the government banned the use of wood in making handicraft in 1976.

That didn’t stopped him and instead he turned obstacles into opportunity by creating miniature wooden crafts like guitar, piano, violin and other miniature instruments out of wooden scrap. And not to mention he was a polio victim and employs highly skilled but disabled craftsmen. If wish know more about his company or products you can visit the website: www.delosreyeshomecraft.com ( as of now it is unavailable ) or you can visit the showcase in Tiendesitas in Ortigas.
