If you still struggle for comment robot spam, there is a captcha plug-in I found which could work fine. There two options on this plugin, image clicking and question and answer before someone could post on your blog. Akismet is fine but if it still can sam your site, this is a great addition. You can find the plugin page here. For now I’m using the question & answer option because the image don’t work well. Maybe my theme is not compatible. Anyway good luck!
