3 Essential Tips for Starting a Business

successWhen starting a business, it is imperative that we should allot our resources to only the most important things for us to be prepared on rainy season. Because we don’t have an assurance if the venture we are undertaking will immediately become a hit. But most of the time we omit some more important things that should be also considered for us to have a competitive edge and to be successful. So for safety reasons don’t be stingy on these:

1) Good people – loose a little bit of your money by hiring good people. Yes it’s true that you don’t always get your money’s worth because sometimes an employee demands a big salary but does not match his skill. One good example is my previous bully manager. He was very lucky because he able to fool my previous employer and given him a very fat salary. He always acts as if he is a one man band and can do everything. But little that our employer knows that he was just stealing other people’s idea. The selfish idiot just thinks of what he can get from the company and suppress his people who can contribute more of their talents. In so doing the company suffers because the employer can’t get his money’s worth on the people he hired. Just remember the saying, “a rotten tomato will rot the whole batch”. But I’m sure this is just a rare event and I believe that generally people who demands a higher pay has a skill that matches.

2) Legal Services – This area is generally overlooked especially here in our country. But in the long run will save you more if you give consideration on legal counsel.

3) Business Design and Logo – This area is very important because this gives people the impression of your business. Either it’s on the letterhead, tarpaulin, website or billboard this is the first thing your customer will see. I have another article the tackles logo design here in my blog. The title is A Logos’ Beauty is in the Eyes of The Beholder. A professionally designed logo is a smart investment and will insure you look successful from the very start.
