I am interested in backyard tilapia farming. It was recently aired on abs-cbn tv patrol that Quezon City launched a project on its barangays. They had modular set up which consisted of 3-5 plastic barrels. I strongly believe this would augment family income and food source. If anybody could provide further information, it will be greatly appreciated. Please post to my personal email alvindoblas@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

I think I watch an episode that featured a backyard tilapia farming using plastic drums to hold the fish. I was interested on that too many years ago but I didn’t pursue because of lack of capital.

Likewise , i am really interested in backyard tilapia farming using plastic drums as a pen. Kindly provide me an appropriate technical information on how it will work, it would be a great help for me to sustain financial needs to my family. I would be thankful for your great help. May “GOD BLESS U ALWAYS”.

@Rick Amor
Thanks for the comment. I’m also searching for the technical details on plastic drum fish pen for the tilapia. A few years back I’ve made some designs about it but became disinterested because I don’t have my own lot and capital to start it. Anyways I’ll try to find and research about it.
