I'd just like to add that you also need to check if the niche you found is PROFITABLE in terms of advertisers bidding on those niche keywords. You can use spyfu or google adwords keyword tool to check for cost-per-click. Try targeting niche keywords that have CPCs of US$1.00 and up. No sense wasting effort on low CPCs.
