Some Tips on Starting a Tiangge (Bazaar)

tianggeTiangge, flea market or Bazaars can be seen everywhere we go. They sprouted in malls, unused parking lots, churches or side walks. We patronize them because they sell cheaper items compared to supermarkets or malls. Sometimes they became a nuisance to pedestrians and motorist that causes heavy traffic because they occupy most of the side walks. Anyway if are just responsible and follow rules and guidelines like for example setting up in a place with heavy foot traffic but away from sidewalks to avoid causing heavy traffic on motorist and of course punishment from MMDA.

So without much ado, here are some tips that might be helpful to you if you want to venture on selling your commodities in tiangge or bazaars :

Yugatech Featured on Mel&Joey

abe olandresOne of the most popular blogger in the Philippines was Abe (abraham) Olandres. After years of blogging he is now a professional blogger and earns through affiliate programs, having his own webhosting, a blog consultant and a resource speaker as stated in his Yugatech blog. I can say that he was one of the most successful online entrepreneur here in our country.

Last Sunday he was featured in Mel&Joey but made a sensationalized income made by Abe through blogging. But he clears this out through his blog titled Welcome Notes to Visitors from Mel & Joey. During an interview in Mel&Joey he said that a lot people have been emailing him asking that they wanted to put up a blog because they want to earn. He said that it’s not that simple. He started his blog in 2002 and just started to realized that he can place advertisers in his blog in 2005. So the bottom line is this is not an overnight gig. Like other businesses or enterprise you should put a lot of effort, passion, skill and patience.

What is Your Most Important Asset When Selling?

assetYour most important asset when selling is your word. If a potential client knows that you always keep your word and act in integrity, they will believe what you say. Conversely if you do not always keep your word and act in integrity, they will not always believe what you say. It’s quite simple really.

When you are talking to a potential client about the results you can help them achieve, the extent they believe you is the extent they believe in your word. If you have not kept your word, even on the smallest of things, it will impact whether they believe what you say about your products and services and hence it will impact whether they decide to buy from you.

Retailers Selling of Defective Nokia BL-5C Battery Will Be Punished

nokia BL-5CNokia and DTI personnel here in the Philippines made an inspection of the retailers in Greenhills Shopping Center to look for defective batteries. They found out that some sellers don’t know that what they are selling are defective. One of the DTI representative points out that not all BL-5C batteries are defective. The battery units that you doubt to be defective should be checked in the Nokia website by entering the serial numbers. Nokia have to replace 46 million units worldwide so obviously their business is affected.
