WidgetBucks or WidgetSucks?

November 16th, 2007 Lito

widgetsucksJust lately this new player in internet advertising Widgetbucks have announced that publishers who have clicks from traffic outside US and Canada are no longer allowed to receive credits. Merchant are no longer being charged from traffic outside US and Canada.

So what is WidgetBucks? WidgetBucks was created by Mpire.com , the online meta-shopping service that brings together all the most popular online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Shopping.com, Wal-Mart, Target, Gap, and thousands more — into one single site. - Source:Problogger

So what is the impact of this change to us publishers? Just recently there are many clamors against this company and accusing it as scam. I don’t blame those people because the company don’t have a solid term of service or condition for publishers. So how can we trust this company? I’m one of their publishers also and suddenly suspended my account for no valid reason. They told me that they suspect a fraudulent activity and I have placed an invalid domain and violated the section 4 of there term of service. Suspect? my golly! So that means they are not sure of what they are doing and I suspect them also of looking for a scape goat for their action.
