Indian financial services provider offers online money transfer for US-based Filipinos


Filipinos working overseas can now send money to their relatives in the Philippines through a new online money transfer service provider — Remit2Home.com.

Launched by the Times Financial Services, India’s leading financial services provider, Remit2HOme.com offers Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) a safe, fast and affordable way of transferring money from the US to the Philippines.

The service is initially available in United States with the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Kenya as destination countries.

With remittance receipts of over $14 billion annually from over nine million OFWs, the Philippines is the primary target corridor for Remit2Home.

OFWs sending money to their relatives in the Philippines through Remit2home can direct their deposits to receiver accounts in 37 banks, among them ABN Amro Bank, Allied Banking, Banco de Oro, BPI, Bank of China, Bank of Tokyo, China Banking Corp, Deutsche Bank, DBP, Equitable PCIBank, HSBC, Land Bank of the Philippines, Metrobank, PNB, RCBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank, UCPB.
