Last Sunday, November 25, 2007, Kabuhayang Swak na Swak featured the following episodes:

1. Buena Mano Crafts - this business specializes in Christmas decors and was based in Antipolo, Rizal. It started in 1998 with only a thousand pesos capital according to the owner and the materials are bought mainly in Divisoria. Now they have many kinds of christmas decors and designs and exporting to other countries. Contact info: 658-4863 / 658-2711

2. Palm and Sole Spa - the segment featured a spa that also caters for kids. Sometimes when we have kids around instead of relieving our stress, we can’t help to have an additional stress. So instead of telling kids to stop and sit down , they offer spa services to kids also. What a good idea don’t you think? contact info: 951-1752

3. Psalmstre Enterprises Inc. - featured beauty products and one of their best sellers is the placenta soap and cream. . If you are interested the contact number is 09198076402 / 7192500.

4. Edsa Garden House - the segment featured the Taiwan cake which is very similar to a pancake but the shape is cylindrical and have a filling of sliced luncheon meat and spring onions. They mentioned the ingredients but didn’t give the exact measurement. Anyway the ingredients are All purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, egg,chicken powder, black pepper, evaporated milk and oil. Contact info: 927-8516 / 0920-908-6944

5. Biz-News - featured the Yule-Go-Wild, a village Christmas Bazaar that will have a 3 day yuletide treat in A-Venue-Hall, Makati.

6. Carl Balita - Carl Balita is an anchor of “Radyo Negosyo” in DZMM. Swak na swak featured him and about his businesses and some motivating words for those who wants to start a business. One of his advise to us Filipinos is with regards to starting a business. He said that many Filipinos that are hesitant on starting a business is because of lack of capital. Carl said that the problem is not the capital, it’s the idea. A business idea that will invigorate his blood. Maybe because we always want to take a short route to success that is why we are hesitant. So in addition to his advise, ALWAYS HAVE A LONG TERM VIEW. There is no short cut to success.

7. Bambbi Fuentes Hair and Make-up Studio (Salon) - owned by a well known young and pretty actress (also one of my favorite), Jodie Sta. Maria and now a starpreneur. So what is unique about her salon? I think the first thing is her personal touch, by a showbiz personality. Contact info: 489-7707
