I guess many people around the world are having the “Entrepreneurial Spirit”. Like for example, Google top notch Adsense developer Gokul Rajaram left Google Inc. on Nov. 2 to set up his own company and also interested in pursuing journalism or writing. He is a high-ranking Google product manager who helped launch one of the search giant’s most profitable ventures has left to start his own company.(source:CNN Money, Techland Blog: AdSense developer leaves Google) But if I were Gokul, I think staying with Google for a long time is the best choice and forget about full time entrepreneurship for a while and at least make a part time of it.
Anyway that his choice and since he is really good because he helped Google revolutionize web publishing.

I didn’t know also until I came across of the video of Go Negosyo Big Time TV show when they interviewed the Mr. Jose Antonio “Che” Soler, the President of Solarex Solerex Water Technology. it started with Solarex Water Technology, a water treatment firm. According to him, since there are no legitimate companies around with regards to bottled water, he decided to put up a small plant.
He invited the members of BFAD as pilot training and from there he registered the plant. His father came up with the name Crystal Clear and little that he know that it became a legitimate business. He also mentioned the types of bottles water like Purified, Spring, Natural and Mineral. Just lately this new player in internet advertising Widgetbucks have announced that publishers who have clicks from traffic outside US and Canada are no longer allowed to receive credits. Merchant are no longer being charged from traffic outside US and Canada.
So what is WidgetBucks? WidgetBucks was created by Mpire.com , the online meta-shopping service that brings together all the most popular online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Shopping.com, Wal-Mart, Target, Gap, and thousands more — into one single site. - Source:Problogger
So what is the impact of this change to us publishers? Just recently there are many clamors against this company and accusing it as scam. I don’t blame those people because the company don’t have a solid term of service or condition for publishers. So how can we trust this company? I’m one of their publishers also and suddenly suspended my account for no valid reason. They told me that they suspect a fraudulent activity and I have placed an invalid domain and violated the section 4 of there term of service. Suspect? my golly! So that means they are not sure of what they are doing and I suspect them also of looking for a scape goat for their action.

Remember that learning effective leadership isn’t a simple “3 easy steps ” process, rather, it’s a complicated approach to one of management’s most critical functions.
Before you can practice leadership, you must realize that there’s no single style of leadership that will work in all situations. Adaptability becomes a key term in the practice of leadership. When Charles Darwin discussed survival of the fittest he was talking about all species of living things, he could just as easily have directed his observations to managerial leaders. It’s true that leaders must adapt to the leadership environment or risk extinction.
Therefore, an analyst of the factors which make up every leadership environment is important. Many management theorists agree that there are specific, identifiable factors or ”forces” at work in a leadership environment. These are:

I wanted to share with you a newsletter from Mike Litman. This is one of his ‘best of’ articles. Each article has an important ‘nugget’ or principle to share. So here it goes:
Dear Lito,
Derek Jeter is the famous shortstop on the New York Yankees.
Imagine if tomorrow they told him he had to become a pitcher,
he most likely would be average or worse, right?
Stephen Spielberg is one of the world’s greatest film
directors.
Imagine if tomorrow they told him he had to make his
living as a chef, most likely he’d be average or worse,
right?
Warren Buffett is the world’s greatest investor.

Watching the beverage business episode of Go Negosyo, they have showed that there are opportunity in the beverage business aside from the giant cola drinks manufacturers like Coke and Pepsi. Discussing the beverage industry in the Philippines, there are three basic segments:
1. Conventional - this category falls on softdrinks and bottled water
2. Health and therapeutic - for enhancement
3. Rewards - this category falls on alcoholic beverages.
The dominant beverages which composed almost 70% of sari sari stores sell softdrinks and also alcoholic drinks. There are also some enlightening revelations regarding the quality and affordability of beverages with regards to consumers. For example, selling it cheap doesn’t necessarily mean big sale. Consumers does think first and don’t buy immediately even if the price seems attractive. They do question the quality first.

Cattle fattening has gained prominence as an important business project of the livestock industry in the Philippines. It gives the farmer year-round work and pro- vides him with extra income. He can make use of cheap, plentiful farm by-products such as corn stovers, rice straw, copra meal, rice bran and sugarcane tops, which ordinarily go to waste. Most importantly, it helps meet the urgent demand for high-protein foods in the Filipino diet. Backyard cattle fattening or on a large scale can be profitably undertaken. It consists of buying healthy stock, feeding and fattening them for 120 to 180 days, and selling them at anytime of the year. Minimum space for housing is required: 1.5 to 2 sq. meters per head for a sheltered feeding area, and 5 meters per head for a fenced loafing area. Given the proper care, there is less danger of diseases and parasites affecting confined animals and the fattening period is shorter. Marbling or intermixture of fat and lean in meat is better obtained through feedlot fattening. This is preferred by customers.
Selecting Feeder Stock
To make profit and produce good meat, consider the following points:

One of my sales coaching clients, let’s call him John, emailed me the other week and said his revenue for the month had increased by 29% over the same time the previous year. He said one of the reasons for this was because he rejected a lot of his prospects and fired 10% of his clients. Sounds both illogical and radical, don’t you think?
Prior to John deciding to become a radical, he would try and sell to anyone who was interested. Consequently he wasted a lot of time, money and resources (TMR) trying to attract and sell to people who were never going to buy, or if they did buy, the headaches they caused did not make them worthwhile. He wasted a lot of time on people who were never going to become ideal clients.
