Last Saturday, January 5, 2008, Kabuhayang Swak na Swak featured the following episodes: ( Please take note that this blog is not connected with Kabuhayang Swak na Swak. The name of this blog is The Filipino Entrepreneur sorry if you are confused)
1. Garage Sale – the program featured a the benefits of having a garage sale. This is not something new because that is why eBay became so popular. The saying “Your trash might be someone else’s gold” is what make this business a popular and lucrative one.
2. Carica Diet Pack – the past holidays makes us gain a few pounds because of what we ate. Most of the Filipino dishes prepared during the holidays are rich in fats and cholesterols. The ham, queso de bola, spaghetti, fruit salad loaded with cream, barbecue, lechon, crispy pata, menudo and others I forgot to mention are those dishes and food prepared during the Christmas and New Years eve. So again Mr. Ramon Tan of Carica introduced this Carica Diet pack consist of virgin coconut oil, Q10 capsules and Q10 tea. He also advise people to eat more fruit and vegetables to avoid high blood pressure and heart diseases.
3. D’ Excellent Kesong Puti – featured the maker of cottage cheese made from Carabao’s or water buffalo’s milk. It seems simple to make the kesong puti (as per the segment), after milking the carabao, the milk should be strained two times boiled or pasteurized to kill the bactaria and other micro organisms. Then mix the coagulant called “bahay asim”, made from the cow’s internal organs then wait until it curds. Then you can repack them and sell.
4. Business You Can Start with 2,008 pesos – you can start with a capital of 500 pesos with banana cue business, siomai making and fashion accessories. For 1,00 pesos you can start selling curtains, pillow sack, different kinds of process meats, direct selling items like soaps, perfume and laundry soap. For 2,008 pesos you can start making and selling personalized calendars, food business like repacking viands(ulam) and rice to be sold in offices or school, novelty items bought from divisoria and party needs business. If you have any ideas you can write or email swak na swak and they are giving away gift items to the chosen business ideas.

Her initial investment if 55,000 pesos and within one month she recovered it. Her average income per day is 8,000 and the highest is 20,000 and lowest is 1,500.
