Actually, you're right... the trend here in Hawaii is that Filipino workers are being hired because their willingness for a pay-cut. Other wise Filipino entrepreneurs supply a service where there is a growing demand and a little supply... Just look at the Care-Home industry, the Filipino entrepreneurs are making a lot of money because they are willing to take care of older people... and it only comes naturally since that is part of our culture.
