It’s all over the net and on the news of how Barack Obama had a competitive campaign and being a technology-savvy politician. I also saw on local television featuring him of having a facebook account (on Jessica Soho) which he might have used on his campaign. I just remember a local senator who uses technology efficiently on his campaign beside his pleasing personality. He even have a a valid Friendster account. Not just a fake Friendster accounts made by some unscrupulous individuals we saw lately in the news to which Generals and our President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo having fake Friendster accounts. (But come to think of it, if they truly have social network site accounts, they can use it too in their campaigns.)
Remember Senator Chito Escudero? He is also the youngest senator like Obama, aside from being the first African-American President of the United States, I think he is also the youngest.
Quoting from the news:
SAN FRANCISCO – Silicon Valley is looking forward to Barack Obama becoming a “tech president” that will champion Internet freedom and innovation.
Obama’s history-making victory in the US presidential race not only gives the nation its first African-American commander-in-chief, it puts a technology-savvy politician at the country’s helm.
“Obama likes technology and part of the reason he executed so well is that he used technology so effectively,” said analyst Rob Enderle of Enderle Group in Silicon Valley. “That makes him a tech president.”

This could be an eye opener to our local politicians. Are they ready to advertise on the internet for their campaigns? That would be good to us online entrepreneurs.
