Just yesterday I upgraded this blog to WordPress 2.7. I was hesitant at first because I was too busy and thought that it is not urgent. Anyway I proceeded on upgrading to the latest version. After it was installed, my first impression when I logged into the admin area is there are many changes that took place. One noticeable change is that the menu on top of the WordPress admin interface was transferred to the left side bar. There are also changes on the dashboard.
I’m glad that all the plugins I installed are compatible. Even the spot milk plugin worked fine so that the interface that I use to like will be retained.
The only disadvantage is that the editor interface (the area where you write your post) seems sluggish. I can’t write fast enough. Hope they will fix the problem on their next release. How about you? are you experiencing the same sluggish behavior of the editor when creating your post?
