Facebook $25 Free Advertising Offer

Facebook is offering a discount of $25 on advertising. Although this is free, you still have to give your credit card info just in case you like to continue in advertising or execeeded the $25, you have pay the excess. Sound like an old strategy of offering freebies to get customers. Anyway I haven’t tried advertising on a community site but it looks like it’s a good try. But like all other community websites like Myspace and Friendster, I don’t think the return of investment will be at it’s best. Unlike if you advertise on a site that visitors are potential buyers, the reason why people go to a community site is to meet people and socialize. But on the contrary, in a social networking site called Multiply.Com there are many members who build their profile with intent of selling goods and services.

First they make many friends and networks then they start selling. I don’t know if this strategy will work by placing ads on a community sites because an ads is still an ads without friendship involved. But still, one good thing I see on advertising on  Facebook is you can target the age, gender, location, workplace, education, relationship status, relationship interest and keywords or your audience. To get started, go here.

By the way this is the promo code I got from a newsletter of Small Business Newz : XXEE-28X7-26NT-W4R8 (Take note: Expiration is until January 30, 2009) to get your US$25 credit. Want to get $250 more worth of Facebook advertising credit? just visit zadz.com for more facebook advertising coupons.
