If you ask me I don’t know either. What I only know is Google and Googol. Google is a seach engine company and Googol was invented by a child (Dr Kasner’s nine-year-old nephew) who was asked to think up a name for a very big number, namely, 1 with a hundred zeros after it. But what about Googel? when I search a little bit on the search engine Google, I found an explanation on wikipedia which says :
- The Sesame Street television character Googel
Googel is also a common misspelling of:
- googol, a number
- Google, a search engine
That sounds interesting but there is even more. When you use the Google Trends, by typing googel you will discover that those who search for that keyword came from non-english speaking nations or nations where english is not their second language. You will see Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Morocco, Switzerland, Israel, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium. So with that facts we can conclude that targeting audiences on our blog or websites depending on their geographical region will depend on the keyword we are using.
