The new Korean Tele-Novela Money War is now becoming popular here in the Philippines and I admit that I’m also an avid watcher. In Korea the title is different, it is War of Money. Maybe the reason why Korean tele-novela are gaining popularity is the unusual stories happening in them. One very obvious and interesting event is about a loan shark named Bogart (I wonder what’s his Korean name?) who kept five billion won in an office. How in the world can you keep such an amount in your place? From the beginning of the story, I have no idea what is it all about and I don’t watch it that much because I thought it was just another rags to riches story. But as the story goes, it becomes more interesting and the drama is about money war between money lenders.
The main cast who played the role are: (This is on Philippines only, in Korea and other parts of the world where it is shown, the names are different)
- Noah Geum – Park Shin Yang (Romance in Paris)
- Julie Suh – Park Jin Hee (Please Come Back Soon-ae)
- (I forgot) – Kim Jung Hwa (Glass Slipper)
- Wilson - Shin Dong Wook (Farewell to Tears)
- Madam Bong (Cha-yeon’s grandmother, 60) – Yeo Woon Gye (Stock Flower)
- Bogart? - Lee Byung Joon
(Still open, please help me to think of those names)
By the way, Park Jin Hee is really cute.

Yeah, I saw its ad and seems it is interesting. However, I don’t have much time watching it. I do agree with you though that Koreanovelas are really nice to watch with its unique stories.
