Just this week I was watching my daughter opening her Friendster account and noticed that there was a “Send Money” on the MyTools section (see picture below for an example, but this time it was my FS account). It’s not that I don’t have a Friendster account that I didn’t noticed that, it’s because I seldom open my Friendster account. This is their new feature along with their latest addition of Friendster Mobile. You can send money to your friends using this feature by going to the profile page of your friends and clicking the GCASH button and specifying the amount you want to send. Obviously it is powered by GCASH because I already mentioned the GCASH button.
Even though this feature can be done online, you still be charge a php2.50 fee on your cellphone’s load.

To utilize this, you need to register first on Friendster Mobile if you don’t have one.
To register using your cellphone:
- Text REG <email> <password> to 2276
- Then you will receive a confirmation message.
You can also register via web if you are really cheap or don’t have a load on your cellphone.
