Start Them Young!

Kabuhayang Swak na Swak featured a kiddie savings club last Sunday which seems to be a good training to kids. The name of the club was Batang Atikha Savings Club in Laguna which trains youngsters of OFW’s to save, make a livelihood and to invest. It’s like a kindergarten for entrepreneurs. Children are trained to make handicrafts like handmade bags from coco fiber, beaded slippers and paper cards.

Many parents can’t become a good role model for making their children to become an entrepreneur or businessman someday. Due to situations like we have to stick to a 9 to 5 working environment or be employed eventhough we want to start a business ourselves. Unlike those who already became successful businessman who can easily motivate their children to become entrepreneurs. So idea could be, I think a motivating tool for our kids, and maybe we could setup this kind of savings club ourselves and gather members which can be profitable also.
