Blogging has become a hype and not only can yo make a hobby out of it, it can also be your source of livelihood. Just last year, GMA have shown in the Mel and Joey program featuring those bloggers who were earning 5 to 6 figure income (in pesos) but the show have given people presumption that its easy to blog and Joey de Leon have mention that it is a good “Racket” or a sideline. But its far from the truth. Its easy if you already became famous after many years of hard work plus the money and time you spent. ( I have a post about it earlier, you can see it

Setting up an online business seem a challenging task because unlike a brick and mortar business, the customer’s only way of getting information is by pictures and some written features of the products you are selling. Some make good sales copy so customers are already psychologically ready to buy the items. That is why information technology are the best things to sell on the internet because there is no need to touch or feel the items before convincing the buyers.
We also see many businesses that prosper in the world wide web and we wanted to take our share in the internet market “pie”. But many online businesses in the U.S. also flopped. Like what I’ve read:

“Taho” is a favorite Filipino delicacy and was a street food sold by traveling vendors. I think the Philippines is the only country that makes this because I can’t find an english term for the word “taho”. Some called it soy yogurt as I read in some magazines but soy yogurt is really a yogurt. I mean the taste is similar to yogurt which is sour and creamy in consistency and use soy milk instead of cow’s milk . Taho on the other hand is similar to Japanese silken tofu but much softer and breaks easily. It’s more of a very soft gelatin in consistency and sweetened with brown syrup sometimes flavored with vanilla. Since I can’t find an appropriate English term for it, for the mean time I will call it “Sweetened Soy Bean Curd” . So as for the recipe, see below:
Ingredients:
500 grams soybeans
3.5 liter water
2 bars white gelatin,
250 grams brown sugar

Today is the start of the celebration of the Agono Higantes Festival but I haven’t got a change to see it even in GMA television program Unang Hirit. But when we went to the post office, we saw the giant paper mache statues still in front of the municipal hall (beside the post office). We even saw the trucks used by GMA team to shoot the parade. So just for fun me and my wife took shots beside the “Gigantes” which I want to share with you. See photos below. Actually, the start will be tomorrow and on Sunday ( November 22-23, 2008 ) so if you are interested watching it, or you are thinking of traveling to witness and celebrate a festival, tomorrow early in the morning is the start. You can stay on a hotel in Angono called Maysha Hotel or somewhere in Taytay there are other hotels to accommodate you if you don’t have friends or relatives living in Angono.
